Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team in a busy dealership in Watford. Ideally, the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will be flexible as the role can be varied. The business is a European franchise with a large network of franchises around the North of London.
Responsibilities
The majority of the work will be that of an MOT Tester however, should the MOT bay be quiet you will be expected to assist with the service team on mechanical works and services.
Your duties will include MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records with some general vehicle service and repair work.
Qualifications
- Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair
- Main Dealership / Large independent experience
- Valid MOT Licence
- Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
